AMP faces lawsuit over bonuses

Amerprise pays advisors bonuses to new advisors in the anticipation that they'll bring their business with them*. They also increase the bonuses when they increase the GDC** to Ameriprise. Basically, AMP backs out on these bonuses plus the contract says Amerprise will offer products that will help clients ***.

*I know Ameriprise sues when this happens to them.
