I am a brand new and soon to be former Amex merchant that has had nothing but bad service, blatant lies and misinformation from American Express. They approved a transaction for $9250.00 on 2/27 and promised the money would be in my account within 3-4 days. On the 5th day, I called and they said they had no record of the transaction at all. After 5 hours on the phone, they found where they approved it, but someone forgot to actually submit it. So I had to re-run the card. After that, they said the money would be in my account by thursday. Thursday passed, no money. They said by noon on friday. Friday passed, no money. That makes two full weeks since my customer tried to pay me almost $10,000. I need to know what EXACTLY what to do to avoid a chargeback like they seem so glad to do so often. What the hell is wrong with this company? Does satan work there? Are the company picnics held in auswitz for the sentimental value? They are all liars and scroundrels with no interest in actually doing what they say. As soon as I get this money, I AM DONE WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS!!
