Don't think you've seen the ocean until you really see the ocean.

I'm talking about a trip on the PCH (Highway #1).  While you're near Carmel by the Sea, check out Big Sur.

The Ocean is a plethora of colors (tuquois, marine blue, aqua blue, greens...etc, gorgeous, just gorgeous)... depending on the weather, the sky, and where you're at.  The ocean is always very blue in Monterey.

So, you think, yeah, I'm at a vacation spot and I've got sand at my feet and an ocean view: think again, the ocean just isn't the ocean until you've done some traveling and seen the ocean from many different, choice locations:  it's always different and much better in some areas over others.

I'll take a warm ocean anyday over a cold one:  Could we swap waters with HI (now, that would be nice).

I love to vacation in my own backyard.  

See California but don't move here!  We have enough traffic!
